Plot Summary: When Cassie Blake's mother dies she has to move in with her grandmother Jane in Chance Harbor, Washington, the place where her mother grew up. She soon finds the town seems to know more about her, then she knows about herself. As Cassie gets to know her high school classmates, strange and frightening things begin to happen, she learns they are all descendants from powerful witches, and they've been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle.
